BIO:
From student newsrooms in London and New York to a stint at a travel company Paris, I have gained extensive experience in SEO writing and online media. My commitment to journalism has seen me freelance for a French company while completing my rigorous BA in English Literature with Creative Writing, and MA in International Journalism at the University of Leeds. I have exceptional skills in editing, SEO writing, and social media management, as well as a critical knowledge of news reportage across the globe.

My experience spans from news to fashion and travel journalism. I am currently a News Explainer at The Telegraph and a Contributing Editor at Magazine by Runway Gallery.
My current position as a news explainer for The Telegraph involves writing and editing explainer pieces about the latest news around the world. Most recently, I have produced articles about the US Election, Covid-19 and Brexit.
I also work as a Contributing Editor at Magazine, owned by the London-based Runway Gallery. To date, I have interviewed the likes of Sasha Pivovarova, VIN+OMI and Malan Breton, among other models, designers and artists from across the world. I also wrote Sasha Pivovarova's biography for the Runway Gallery site.

My history in journalism is seen through my work as the Editor-in-Chief at The Tab Leeds, where I broke breaking news stories, and worked with local fashion shows and independent designers.

Throughout my MA, I also gained experience in PR through my role as a Press and PR Manager for Leeds RAG Fashion Show 2020.

While studying in New York, I worked as the Features Editor for The Tab NY. I contributed to weekly meetings at New York University and liaised with the US headquarters, where I learned to hone my writing skills to an American audience. My favourite piece was a guide to the best coffee shops in Greenwich Village (pictured).
My role as a Press and PR Manager for Leeds RAG Fashion Show involved working with journalists, bloggers and designers to publicise the show. I also wrote articles, such as the piece opposite to boost interest around the show.
Working alongside fellow committee members, I liaised with contacts to boost the profileof the event across the city by writing press releases, commissioning articles, arranging local radio appearances and creating blog posts.

I have written travel themed pieces for Harpy Magazine. I have tailored this content towards the current pandemic, writing on how to travel across Europe without leaving lockdown and interviewing a female Emirates Airlines pilot.

I worked as a freelance travel writer for the UK branch of this French holiday company, before being invited to intern in their Paris office.
While in the office, I became the content editor of both the UK and US site. This role introduced me to SEO writing, SEMrush and SEOQuantum.
I am now the UK and US editor on a freelance basis. My work includes frequent contactwith the Likibu founders to recruit new writers and edit articles across the two sites.
